COMJ 3201 - Conflict, Power & Communication


Credit Hours: 3

This course examines conflict in interpersonal, organizational, and international contexts where hierarchical relations of power are prevalent. Emphasis is on the historical, socio-cultural, political and ethical dimensions of conflict development and resolution in everyday life. Students develop skills in conflict analysis, mediation, management, and transformation of relationships.

Prerequisite: COMJ 1010  or COMJ 1101  or COMJ 1102  or COMJ 1103  or COMJ 1105  or COMJ 1106  or COMJ 1107  or COMJ 1108  or COMJ 2201  or ENGL 1200
