Supply Chain Management, Minor

This minor provides students with a solid foundation in the concepts and practices of supply chain management. This program focuses on the coordination of all activities involved in the planning, sourcing, production, and delivery of goods and services to customers. Students will learn about the key principles of supply chain management, including inventory management, transportation and logistics, procurement, and supply chain strategy.

Student Learning Outcomes


  • Apply supply chain strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, while maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations.
  • Use data analysis tools and techniques to analyze and interpret supply chain data, such as inventory levels, supplier performance, and demand forecasts.
  • Develop strategies and identify the tools for ethical and sustainable supply chain management such as ethical sourcing, sustainable supply chain, social responsibility, transparency, and traceability in the supply chain operations.
  • Effectively communicates in oral, written, visual, and digital formats.

Admission Requirements


  • Available to all majors
  • Note: BSBA students will already take the required business core courses; therefore, BSBA students will take 15 unique credits to complete this minor.
