Human Resource Management, Certificate

The Certificate in Human Resources Management (CHRM) is designed to offer non-traditional students (e.g., older, working adults) the knowledge, skills, abilities, and others (KSAOs) needed to assume entry to higher levels of professional HRM.

Student Learning Outcomes

Apply important concepts surrounding the study of human resources in today’s diverse work environment.
Execute entry level HR strategies that contribute to strategic business goals.
Evaluate global HR challenges such as compensation, benefits, recruitment, and training.
Demonstrate proficiency in the SHRM Body Competency of Knowledge.

Admission Requirements

GPA (to start or complete): 2.5 or better
Grade requirements: “C” or better for an average 2.0 GPA
Majors not permitted to get this minor: The HRM minor and the HRM certificate are mutually exclusive
