ART 2014 - Wood Furniture I
Credit Hours: 3
Introduces wood as a material to develop personal creativity & 3D design sensibility in regard to furniture. Methods of woodworking are investigated, including the use of hand tools, power tools, machinery, and modes of finishing. Consideration is given to the role of furniture and wooden objects, historically, functionally, and conceptually.
