ART 3310 - Jewelry and Metals: Contemporary Jewelry Concepts


Credit Hours: 3

Students explore jewelry’s relationship to the body and its conceptual impact, using mixed media in combination with metal. Material experimentation and ideas about value and permanence are investigated, along with techniques specific to jewelry making. The origin of jewelry and how it functions across cultures is closely examined.
