ARTH 2300 - Introduction to European Art
Credit Hours: 3
This course will survey the artistic achievements of European artists and cultures from prehistory until the late 18th century, focusing on the creative impulses that identified European societies. Students will explore examples of art, architecture, painting, sculpture and crafts to reach an understanding of the cross-cultural and social contexts.
