BIOL 4770 - Forest Ecology and Management


Credit Hours: 4

This course explores the structure, dynamics and management of forest ecosystems. Lectures cover the ecology and taxonomy of Eastern U.S tree species and modern forestry practices for wildlife and ecosystem management. Labs focus on tree identification and field techniques for forest inventory and analysis.

Prerequisite: BIOL 1400  and BIOL 1700  and BIOL 2248
