First semester of a one-year sequence introducing students in the Allied Health Sciences to the principles of General, Organic, and Biological Chemistry, including atomic theory, the periodic table, chemical bonding, physical and chemical properties, kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, the laws of thermodynamics, and nuclear chemistry.
