COMJ 2231 - Interpersonal Communication


Credit Hours: 3

Examines interpersonal communication theories, processes, functions and contexts. Topics include initiation, development, maintenance, repair, networking, and disengagement in interpersonal relationships. Students develop communication competency in navigating families, friendships, romantic partners, and workplace relationships.

Prerequisite: COMJ 1010  or COMJ 1101  or COMJ 1102  or COMJ 1103  or COMJ 1104  or COMJ 1105  or COMJ 1106  or COMJ 1107  or COMJ 1108  or COMJ 2201  or ENGL 1200
