ECEE 3700 - Teaching Mathematics in Grades K-4


Credit Hours: 3

This course develops and applies students’ knowledge and skills necessary to teach mathematics to children from grades K-4. This course emphasizes the PDE mathematics standards and NCTM domains through developmentally appropriate instructional methods using a variety of teaching tools/manipulatives.

Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education

CoRequisite: ECEE 3710 - Teaching Science in Grades K-4  and ECEE 3720 - Teaching Social Studies in Grades K - 4  and ECEE 3730 - Teaching Disciplinary Literacy K-4  and ECEE 3640 - Integrated STEM
