Credit Hours: 3

The course focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for the first person(s) on the scene of an emergency. Whether medical or trauma in nature, upon successful completion of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to adequately asses and care for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries until advanced level responders arrive. Prerequisite: Admission to professional phase of ATE Program. Offered fall, annually.
