GEOG 4130 - Forest Geography and Conservation


Credit Hours: 3

Examination of the global distribution of forested ecosystems and how they change over time. Emphasis is given to processes that control patterns of forest growth and change, especially forest dynamics and disturbance (both natural and human-mediated). Major US forest conservation issues will be addressed.

Prerequisite: GEOG 2150  or GEOG 2130
