GEOL 3700 - Applied Environmental Geosciences


Credit Hours: 3

Environmental problems and issues associated with the interaction between the natural environment and human resource demands is evaluated. Emphasis is placed on scientific data and evidence-based practices in determining environmental impacts of human activities and prospects for exploration, exploitation, and remediation. Focus is placed on air and water, energy, and mineral resources.

Prerequisite: GEOL 1500
