NURS 1020 - Nursing Process II Credit Hours: 5
This course focuses on the application of the best current evidence-based nursing practice in acute care settings to individuals across the lifespan while integrating interdisciplinary collaboration in acute care. Evidence-based nursing practice is utilized as it relates to the care of maternal, newborn, and pediatric clients as well as clients with musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic dysfunction for delivery of optimal health care.
Prerequisite: NURS 1010 (minimum grade of B-),NURS 1110 (minimum grade of Pass), NURS 1210 (minimum grade of B-), NURS 1310 (minimum grade of B-), BIOL 2810 (minimum grade of C-), BIOL 2811 (minimum grade of C-), and PSYC 1000 (minimum grade of C-)
CoRequisite: BIOL 3810 (minimum grade of C-), BIOL 3811 (minimum grade of C-), PSYC 2200 (minimum grade of C-) may be taken concurrently with NURS 1120 if not already completed as a prerequisite.
