THEA 3200 - Fundamentals of Directing
Credit Hours: 3
This course encompasses the study of the director’s process of planning for a dramatic production for the stage, film, and television. The directorial analysis of scripts plus basic fundamentals of composition, picturization, movement, and improvisation with gesture, costume, and properties is studied. It will include in-class interaction and outside preparation work to develop a short one act or an excerpt from a longer play.
