HLCM 7100 - Healthcare Policy
Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to provide students with an overview of U.S. healthcare system, various organizations institutions that make the U.S. Health care system work, its components, and the policy challenges. The course will cover the Health Care Costs, history and financing of Medicare, and Medicaid. The role of government in U.S. Healthcare and status and implementation of Affordable Care Act at the state and federal levels will be discussed.
