CHEM 3640 - Fundamentals of Chemistry III

Credit Hours: 4

This course introduces General Biochemistry with particular emphasis on the structure of molecules.Topics include the chemistry and metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids, enzyme structure/function and genetic information transfer.There is a three hour lab per week.

Prerequisite: CHEM 2240  or CHEM 2250
