COMJ 3202 - Advocacy Campaigns

Examines theory, research, actions and proposed solutions to influence decision making at the local, state and federal level. Topics include strategies to promote positive change, protecting or changing rights, gaining eligibility for services or to assist in removal of barriers and limitations. Students develop advocacy strategies.

Prerequisite: COMJ 1010 or COMJ 1101 or COMJ 1102 or COMJ 1103 or COMJ 1104 or COMJ 1105 or COMJ 1106 or COMJ 1107 or COMJ 1108 or ENGL 1200
