Credit Hours: 1 TO 6

Permits students to explore an area of special interest in the English language or its literature. Students must develop a plan of study, secure the approval of a member of the English faculty willing to supervise the project, and submit the plan to the department chair. Maximum credits–six.

Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing.
