GEOG 4120 - Biogeography


Credit Hours: 3

The course provides a historical background for the field of biogeography and the ecological foundations needed to understand the distribution and abundance of species and their changes over time. Topics include the study of the distribution and diversity of life, how species migrate, the importance of natural and human disturbances in ecosystems.

Prerequisite: GEOG 2150  or GEOG 2130
