HIST 3110 - Religious Persecution in U.S.

Religious tolerance and persecution have been recurring themes in U.S. history; religion has played a significant role in the development of American culture. This class will examine diverse groups who sought to practice their religion freely and how they suffered persecution; it will also explore the meaning of the First Amendment.
