HIST 3830 - History of US Social Change

Many groups worked to change aspects of American society during our long history. Issues such as race, gender, class, and immigration drove the evolution of American society and shaped the current United States. This course will examine the historical development of major issues such as slavery, popular democracy, women’s rights, and civil rights.
