HIST 4120 - US Civil Rights Movement


Credit Hours: 3

This course explores the modern Civil Rights Movement in the United States as a component of the larger Black Freedom Movement. In analyzing the Civil Rights Movements, students will gauge major organizations, events, theaters, national and local leaders. Important victories, legislation and legacies will also be explored.

Prerequisite: ENGL 1200
