NURS 4453 - Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Nursing Theory

This course prepares students to provide care to children, adolescents and adults experiencing psychiatric/behavioral health problems and coping deficits in acute and community settings. Emphasis on the psychological development, psychopathology, patient education, treatment modalities and therapeutic nurse-patient relationships.
