PHIL 3240 - Environmental Ethics


Credit Hours: 3

This course introduces students to issues in environmental ethics. A survey of traditional ethical theories provides a background to contemporary debates in this field, such as the moral status of individual living things; the ethical significance of species, wilderness, and ecosystems; and moral responsibilities concerning global warming.
