POLI 3620 - Politics and Pop Culture Credit Hours: 3
This course examines the effects of various forms of popular culture on politics within and across societies. Students will use their own experiences as consumers of popular culture as a foundation for exploring the roles played by mass-mediated popular culture in people’s political lives. Students will also examine various approaches to analyzing politics.
Prerequisite: POLI 1000 or POLI 1100 or Sophomore Standing
