PSYC 3414 - Black Psychology


Credit Hours: 3

This course presents the psychological principles shaping the personality of Black people. Includes a critique of “traditional” psychology, racial myths, discriminatory thinking and behavior. The analysis of attitudes and behaviors which develop in prejudicial socio-economic, educational and political systems are examined.

Prerequisite: PSYC 1000
