PSYC 3420 - Psychology and Law


Credit Hours: 3

This course provides an overview of psychology’s various roles in the civil and criminal justice systems, using a research-based focus on the application of psychology in the legal system. Topics explored include eyewitness testimony, criminal profiling, juries, discrimination, and family law. Current problems and practices will be presented.

Prerequisite: PSYC 1000
