PSYC 3544 - Childhood Trauma: Theory, Research, & Practice Credit Hours: 3
This course examines the impact of trauma and traumatic stress on children, adolescents, and families. Theoretical foundations, current research and literature, and developmental considerations of traumatic stress’s impact on developing children are explored. Evidence-based treatments for childhood traumatic stress will be reviewed.
Prerequisite: PSYC 1000
