SPED 4010 - Assistive Technology for the Exceptional Learners

Credit Hours: 3

Overview of a wide range of assistive technology(AT) for individuals with mild to severe disabilities. Students will learn about the use of the devices, definition of AT, legal mandates of AT, identification of funding resources, how to assess assistive technology needs, how to integrate AT in the IEP, and how to deliver online instruction.

Prerequisite: SPED 3060 and SPED 3070 and SPED 3080 and SPED 3090
