SPT 4235 - Risk Management for Sports Professions

This course is designed to examine risk management in sports and recreation. It will provide a comprehensive knowledge base for those sports management professionals charged with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of participants and spectators. The course covers a wide range of risk management and safety issues including: legal concerns, emergency action plans, waivers, facilities, equipment, aquatics, supervision, and training.
