ANTH 2000 - Introduction to Biological Anthropology

Credit Hours: 3

Students are introduced to the field of biological anthropology, including evolutionary theory, modern human populations, the behavior and ecology of nonhuman primates, and the primate (human and non-human) fossil record. Special emphasis is placed on human form and behavior because of the complex interplay of biology and culture in our species.
