SPAN 3300 - Introduction to Spanish Phonetics and Pronunciation


Credit Hours: 3

Introduces the Spanish phonetic and phonological systems. Includes a comparative analysis between English and Spanish, and among major variations of the Spanish language spoken across Europe and the Americas.  Introduces corrective phonetics. Provides basic knowledge and skills to navigate through the diverse Spanish-speaking world.

Prerequisite: SPAN 2001
