Student Learning Outcomes
- Students graduating with a minor in History will demonstrate critical thinking skills in the historical method including the importance of primary sources, historical context, and cause and effect in a chronological sense.
- Students graduating with a minor in History will demonstrate appropriate writing skills to develop a well-supported historical argument with proper use of citations.
- Students graduating with a minor in History will examine various theoretical perspectives within the discipline and utilize accepted methodological approaches in their own writing.
Curriculum Requirements
Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of advanced standing per the PennWest minor policy. Required Courses
9 credits of courses from the 1000 level 9 credits of courses from the 2000+ level |
