This undergraduate minor provides foundational skills in application programming and web development, starting with simple sites, moving through dynamic client-side and server-side functionality, and culminating in web-based systems that create and access various information services. The primary objective of the program is to offer an option to non-CIS majors to develop an initial expertise in the programming of web-based applications.

- Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
- Design and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline.

Curriculum Requirements
- All majors/minors may have a maximum of 12 credits overlap with the Web Programming minor.
- At least 2 courses must be unique to this minor (not used for any major / other minor(s)
- CMIS 4950 Internship - variable credits, but only a maximum of 3 credits can be used for this minor.
