Estill Voice Training, Certificate

The certificate trains students to improve their singing and speaking styles and vocal health. This course is ideal for singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists, and other vocal health professionals. Students who complete the certificate will be prepared to sit for their Estill Voice Training EFP (Estill Figure Proficiency) Certification Examination.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate control over the quality of the vocal production by identifying, isolating, and manipulating the thirteen moveable anatomical structures within the vocal system and combining them to produce the six Estill Voice Qualities.
- Employ compulsory vocal figure exercises for mastering various speaking and singing tasks while prioritizing vocal health.
- Evaluate effective and ineffective voice use in performance and speech and produce written evaluations of such vocal performances based on internal evidence and external criteria.
- Convert scientific theory into concrete practice to maximize vocal control.
- Test for EFP (Estill Figure Proficiency) micro-certification.
