The Applied Economics certificate prepares graduates to make better business decisions by applying economic theory, statistical tools, and behavioral analysis. Students apply micro- and macroeconomic theory and econometric tools to solve practical business, social and public policy problems. These in-demand skills can be applied to careers in business, finance, healthcare, insurance, and the government and nonprofit sectors.

- Apply the theoretical tools of micro- and macroeconomics and appropriate quantitative and econometric tools to find solutions to economic problems.
