The Human Resources Management (HRM) Minor is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, abilities, and others (KSAOs) needed to assume entry and higher levels of professional HRM in organizations of all sizes and industries. Recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance appraisals, compensation, benefits, motivation, safety and health, separation, unions, HR technologies, DEIB, and related topics are studied in this highly marketable minor.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate entry-level knowledge: a) the content and scope of the main subfunctions within HRM (e.g., selection, recruitment, training, development, performance evaluation, compensation, benefits, etc.); b) techniques and processes used by professionals in these positions; and c) the foundations and recent developments of the profession.
- Evaluate, implement, and customize products and services that automate or otherwise facilitate HRM subfunctions in a given organization.
- Demonstrate entry level knowledge and coordination procedures about strategic management, administration, operations, and regulations affecting HRM.
