The minor in Climate Change is designed to introduce the student to the science of climatology and its application to global climate change, including the knowledge and skills required to understand the Earth climate system, its history, processes, and impacts of climate change on the environment and society. A Minor in Climate Change will enable students from any discipline to broaden their education, and skill set related to impacts of climate change, and will be a valuable credential for students in a variety of Major academic programs, including Education, Business, History, Chemistry, Biology, and Pre-Law, among others.

Student Learning Outcomes
Students are required to demonstrate the:
- Ability to apply the principles of climatology to analyze problems related to climate change
- Ability to design and/or conduct experiments and/or observations using principles of meteorology and climate science
- Ability to properly analyze and interpret data and make meaningful comparisons to current earth science related issues
