The biology minor provides students with broad training in the biological sciences. Students receive hands-on training in the methods and technology of the discipline, build their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and participate in original research as part of the many laboratory and field courses offered.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will describe and explain the content knowledge of biology (cells through ecosystems) through its fundamental theories, terminology, and principles.
- Students will access, assess, and use available sources of information (including primary sources and databases) in the biological sciences.
- Students will critically review, synthesize, interpret, and assess scientific data using a variety of methods and tools.

Select any two 3000 or 4000 level PLE, BIOL, FWSC courses with permission of minor advisor
