The Global Business minor provides students in any major the skills and perspective needed to succeed in a globalized economy. Through this minor students explore the theory and practical application of the production and sale of goods and services between countries, global issues in human resources, and the nuances, politics, and dynamics of doing business in a global economy. Regardless of a student’s planned career path, an understanding of different countries and cultures is beneficial for success in today’s globalized economy.  The cultural awareness and international perspective of the courses in the Global Business minor can complement any major.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Apply the concepts, terminology, and models pertinent to international business analysis.
  • Analyze the history and impacts of different cultural, legal, political, economic, regulatory, and social systems and contexts in which international businesses operate
