The Certificate in Human Resources Management (CHRM) is designed to offer non-traditional students (e.g., older, working adults) the knowledge, skills, abilities, and others (KSAOs) needed to assume entry to higher levels of professional HRM.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Apply important concepts surrounding the study of human resources in today’s diverse work environment.
- Execute entry level HR strategies that contribute to strategic business goals.
- Evaluate global HR challenges such as compensation, benefits, recruitment, and training.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the SHRM Body Competency of Knowledge.
Admission Requirements
- GPA (to start or complete): 2.5 or better
- Grade requirements: “C” or better for an average 2.0 GPA
- Majors not permitted to get this minor: The HRM minor and the HRM certificate are mutually exclusive
