The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is a multidisciplinary degree program designed to provide students with a structured yet flexible path that encourages students to explore their interests across academic disciplines, establish a breadth of knowledge, and develop strong critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. Many students choose the Interdisciplinary Studies program to create individualized programs of study that combine their academic interests and professional goals. Students also choose the Interdisciplinary Studies program to complete their undergraduate degrees when their career goals have changed or new opportunities arise.
