The minor in animation seeks to empower interdisciplinary students with an understanding of animation’s artistry, technology, and application across various industries. Animation is an art form that has many applications in our ever-evolving digital world. It is no longer limited to the realm of entertainment: animation has many practical uses ranging from health care to criminology to industrial design. Students will investigate a variety of processes and techniques within the animation art form.
Students will evaluate historical and cultural movements within the art of animation, and apply their own creative process within those contexts.
