Jewelry and Metals, Minor

With a minor in Jewelry and Metals, students become knowledgeable about the methods and materials needed to create jewelry, functional objects, and small sculpture. Non-ferrous metalworking techniques are explored in depth. An emphasis is placed on students’ ability to address and apply design principles historic and aesthetic considerations, and conceptual content in the development of personal, creative work.
