INFO 6120 - Reference Svcs Genealogy

Course introduces students to specialized reference resources for genealogy and local history. Students will assess the value and use of specific published documents and primary sources held in library collections. Major online resources will be examined and compared. Students will create sample policies and procedures to deliver effective local history and genealogy reference services within specific library settings.
