NURS 6377 - Pediatric Prim Care Practicum

Credit Hours: 3

This seminar/practicum includes 96 hours of clinical practicum that gives students an opportunity to implement the objectives identified in NURS 6366. Students will select clinical settings that provide opportunities for age-appropriate health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of common acute and chronic health problems in pediatric patients from birth to emerging adulthood. Additional seminar time will include virtual grand rounds and other sessions to augment the clinical experiences.

Prerequisite: NURS 6011, NURS 6022, NURS 6099, NURS 6111, NURS 6122, NURS 6144, NURS 6155, NURS 6166, NURS 6266, NURS 6277, NURS 6455, NURS 6466, NURS 6477; Concurrently with NURS 6366.
