HIST 4140 - History of Hip Hop

Credit Hours: 3

This class will explore the “evolution” and theoretical “foundations” of Hip Hop. Hip Hop has transcended racial and geographical boundaries and has become a “mode and model” cultural phenomenon that is evident in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin and South America.

Prerequisite: HIST 3019
