NURS 6366 - Pediatric Primary Care Credit Hours: 3
This course focuses on primary approaches to the health care needs of pediatric patients from birth to emerging adulthood. Topics will include health promotion, disease prevention and disease management with an emphasis on anticipatory guidance and early detection of health, developmental, and behavioral issues. All dimensions of development and the total health of the family are considered.
Prerequisite: NURS 6011 , NURS 6022 , NURS 6099 , NURS 6111 , NURS 6122 , NURS 6144 , NURS 6155 , NURS 6166 , NURS 6266 , NURS 6277 , NURS 6455 , NURS 6466 , NURS 6477 ; Concurrently with NURS 6377
